Doula in training?

Question

This is my 3rd child and I'm looking to have an all natural hospital birth this time around. I am looking into hiring a doula but see that they can be a bit pricey. I have seen doulas in training are a fraction of the cost and was wondering if anyone has used a doula in training, and what was their experience? Thank you.

We looked into using a doula in training and ended up just hiring a regular doula and paying full price instead. I tried to set up three initial meetings with the doula in training and she would always cancel last minute; one time when I was almost to our scheduled meeting spot. She was just too unreliable, always having an excuse about why she had to cancel/reschedule. This got me thinking that she probably would have an excuse to why she couldn't be at the birth!! 
We were 1000% happier paying in order to have a reliable decent doula.

I currently have a doula in training. She is great and has been very knowledgable so far. She has had 3 kids herself and different experiences with each from natural to c-section. She had also attended several births before actually taking on her own clients. I can honestly say I feel very comfortable with her.  We also had an hour long sit down with her before we signed our contract and our personalities were a perfect match.
