Am I unreasonable
I broke up with my first Love, the mother of my only child, in September
Prior to the break up I spent 4-6 days out of the week with her and I watched her every night so her mother could get sleep. During this time I was still in college full time working 30-40 hours a week and paying for whatever the baby or her needed as long as I was present and when I wasn't I'd give her my credit card
After the break she's limited me to two whole days a month watching my daughter and two afternoons during the week while she works. She has taken me to court for child support
She wants to work things out between us and so do I but what I need from her is for her to give me an equal amount of time with our daughter, to drop the court case, to respect me as an individual, respect my personal privacy, treat me with care and empathy, be patient, and be willing to talk out our issues until they are solved
Is it fair for me to say that the child support case and my gripe with my relationship with our daughter affects my willingness to get back together?
Am I asking too much?
