I pump and give my milk in a bottle how long can I keep it out before it goes bad ? Half the time my daughter leaves a ounce left and I always throw it out , it's room temp,

If your baby's mouth has been on the bottle, you should get rid of it after 2 hours.

The lactation consultant I worked with told me once pumped it can be out 4 hours room temperature and if baby doesn’t finish the bottle it can be left out for 1 hour only.  The longest I’ve had my breast milk out was maybe an hour and if she doesn’t finish it I dump it out.

Personally I’ll give that milk to baby right away Fresh but u can store it 2 hours
