Bump casting?

Is it worth doing? I’m a young FTM it took us about 10 months to conceive our sweet boy. I’m currently 31 weeks and a few days. I was wondering if it’s worth it to do a bump cast. I’m worried that maybe I won’t be able to carry another child and wouldn’t have something to hold the memory of my bump. What do y’all think?

Pictures are better IMO, I personally wouldn’t have anywhere to put the cast and wouldn’t necessarily want it on display in my house.

I think maternity pictures are better. They generally would last longer, be nicer to look at and you’d have a visual of your pregnancy alone and with your partner forever. Your child will be able to look back on it too.
Personally I don’t see what you’d do with a cast. Have it on display for the rest of your life? Seems a bit odd to me. I’d never do it.

Personally, I love bump casts. My mom did them with all of my younger siblings and got them professionally painted and hung in their nursery. Even now, that my siblings are older, when we come across them they always find it so interesting that they were what that belly once held. Such a beautiful memory for everyone in the family.

I couldn’t think of anything to do with one if I did. It would most likely end up in the garage or attic collecting dust until for some reason I wanted to show my kids when they’re older 🤷🏽‍♀️. 
Pictures are better IMO. I did a shoot at 20 weeks and I’ll be doing another at 30 weeks (which is next week). 
But if it’s something you want to do, don’t listen to us! Do it.
