Nexplanon Replacement

For those of you who use Nexplanon or the implant for your BC, how many appointments did it take for you to have it replaced? I’ve had mine in for over 4 years and I know it doesn’t work anymore because I’ve gone back to having a normal, regular menstrual cycle. I never got it replaced because I didn’t want to have to go to a million different appointments and waste time and money just for a less than two minute procedure. I know that’s a dumb excuse, but I have a full time job and go to school full time as well. I received new insurance at the start of the year and am finally looking into getting it replaced.
