I had chorio too. We both went into shock. You didn’t need c section?? We had an emergency c section because the infection is life threatening

After 20 hours of labor. 25 minutes of pushing. We welcomed our baby girl Ember Skye on Saturday December 14th at 2:09am. 👶🏻💕 I developed chorioamnionitis during labor and she had respiratory distress and had to be in the special care nursery and on the c-pap.
We both were on antibiotics and got to go home on the 17th.

That may have been the difference. When we went into shock I was only at a 4cm. And that’s when they decided it was OR time

No c-section. It was discussed as a possibility if I couldn’t get her out in the last few pushes. Rather than pushing 3 times a contraction I was determined to push 4 times. I had a great doctor and nurses who helped me push properly to get her out.
