I just lost my mucus plug last night.  today I’m 39 weeks how long before contractions starts

I'm 39 weeks today also and I started losing my mucus plug Tuesday morning... its different for everyone

It could be anywhere from 24 hours to a few days.

It can fall out and grow back. I never actually saw mine with either kid. I hope you're close! Walk walk walk and try to plan something enjoyable for you each day so it doesn't feel so much like labor watch 🤣 Best wishes for a safe delivery of a healthy baby to a healthy Mama!
