Setting our own Tradition
I'm already thinking about X-mas for this year. 😂
We are soon moving to our new home and have decided it's our turn to do x-mas dinner this year. I would like to start off our own "traditional" dinner. Having worked in the food industry, I value food presentation and table setting.
Last xmas we spend it at my fiance's aunt who wanted to do pork and salat. We said great, except my FIL. He said, "I just want sausage, don't like the other stuff" like they do it at home. I found that really rude to be honest, but whatever they got sausages under his request. Now, I think I might do sausage just for him, BUT I think he needs to get that, it's someone else hosting it and they should decide what's for dinner. Afterall, I want to set my own "tradition" and just like I had to get used to their customs, I don't see why they can't.
What do you guys think? Is it worth being petty or just being firm? ;)
