UTI help

I am 8w2d today. I went in last Friday for our first prenatal appointment and routine lab work. This morning, I got a phone call saying that all looked good except that I have a UTI. I have been put on antibiotics for 5 days. Has anyone been through this? I am so worried because I had no idea and have no idea how long I have had one. I noticed last week my urine was darker even though I was drinking my water goal every day, but attributed it to weird pregnancy stuff. I have had a slight jabbing sensation here and there in my abdomen since Tuesday, but blamed it on holiday food and that I have struggled with some gas and digestive issues since being pregnant. I have never had a UTI pregnant or otherwise, so freaking out a bit. This is my first pregnancy.
