My daughter just turned 2 in October and I’m due with our second child in April. We’ve been working with her on potty training since she was 1 1/2 years old and have made some serious progress with her, however lately she refuses to poop in her potty even though she recognizes what she’s doing when she’s doing it and hates having a dirty diaper. She has also regressed during this Christmas break to wanting to pee in her diaper nonstop which is extremely frustrating considering I don’t want 2 babies in diapers.

I’ve tried everything I can think of. She had her own potty, we’ve bought her a toddler seat and stool to go our potty, we do positive reinforcement and we’ve had her wear pull ups and big girl panties, and yet she seems to be going backwards even farther. 🤦🏻‍♀️
