Dairy free?

Any moms who had to go dairy free for baby- how long did it take to see improvement? My 3 week old is having diarrhea and the culture that the doctor did showed blood in the stool so she recommended I try dairy free and I’m wondering when I might be able to tell if it’s working.

Yup for the whole first year my middle nursed. And the first 6 months with my son.it takes a few weeks but please make sure you are actuallllly dairy free . Dairy and dairy product go by many many many names youd never guess was a milk product 🤷🏻‍♀️I learned that after not noticing a  difference with after 3 weeks with my middle and then I did some research and found out that I wasn’t actually as dairy free as I thought after I fixed that she started changing with in 2 1/2 3 ish weeks

I’ve been diary free for almost 4 months (my daughter is almost 5mo). Being dairy free is very challenging, but it helps her so much!  It’s a pain in the a$$ for me, but it’s a huge help for her so I will stay dairy free while she’s breastfeeding.
