Has anyone else electively chosen to be induced a week before their due date? Is that bad to do? I don’t think I’ll make it to the induction day anyways, but we’ll see. My due date is the 13th, but I’m being induced the 7th. My doctor is retiring the 15th of January, so I feel like that’s why he is okay with having me induced at 39 weeks. This is also my second child. With my first I went into labor naturally, didn’t need pitocin, at 39 + 3 days.
