Bleeding after sex

Okay so I just had my period last week, and I haven’t seen my boyfriend in a week and a half during the holidays but when he came back we had sex and it hurt and I have continued to heavy bleed for 2 days now. Should I be concerned? Or is it normal? I have never had this happen and need advice!
