I’m pretty sure only the LUX has the option to attach the bench seat, and I’m assuming you’ll want that option with a 4 year old. 
The regular seats have a 45lb weight limit while the bench seat holds up to 65lbs. 
Even my 30lb 2.5 year old is getting too tall for the regular seat, but he usually prefers to walk low anyways.
