Egalitarianism is about sameness. Feminism is about fairness. There's a big difference.

The problem with comparing the two is there is no one definition of feminism. It's a movement that has hundreds of branches with different political ideologies, literature and history. For example, liberal feminism believes in gender equality and that anyone can be a feminist or be in the movement. Radical feminists believe in completely dismantling patriarchy through the abolition of gender, and it's female only. There's lesbian feminism, womanism, Marxist, Amazonian, etc etc... So if anyone is confused on what feminism means or is, it's probably because you've only ever heard of one or two branches.
