Sneak Peek Test Fumble

Just finished taking my blood sample for the Sneak Peek At Home Test. I made two mistakes:

1. I thought the small piece of gauze was included for me to use to stop my finger prick from bleeding when I collected the necessary .5ml for the test. It’s not. I was meant to keep it in the smaller ziploc that would eventually hold the sample tube with my blood.

2. I thought the barcode referred to in the instructions was the number on the back of the test box. It’s not. It’s the number on the back of the clear plastic box that your ziplocked sample goes into. When I realized my error I had already placed my sample into the return mailer and sealed it closed. I had to cut it open to get the correct barcode number.

Welp, looks like I may not be getting accurate test results. Oh, well.
