Where to get a IUD?

So I've been wanting to get a IUD since my boyfriend and I have started doing the deed. We both dislike condoms (I'm not worrying of catching anything, we're both clean) and I'm too forget for the pill. Plus I wanted a birth control option that doesnt have any hormones, simply because I dont want any of the side effects they cause. I was particularly interested in the copper IUD and was wondering where I go to get one and if I could get it covered with insurance. Will they allow me to choose or will they chose for me? Thank you.
