Calcium build up on baby’s heart
Today I went in for my anatomy scan at 22 weeks. They spent a lot of time looking/taking pictures of her heart. The doctor told me the baby had a white spot on her heart which means there’s a calcium build up. She said it affects about 3% of pregnancies and it’s a soft marker for Down syndrome. The doctor told me it may go away on its own but she was measuring small a full week behind which could also indicate DS. Has anybody else experienced this and had a healthy baby? I’m so worried
