Anyone's baby still not doing tummy time well?

My Baby still hates it. He is 15 weeks old, he can almost sit up on his own. And loves to be held standing up on his feet alot but still face plants the floor when put on his tummy. :(

My daughter would always eat the floor she had no strength to hold herself up. For Christmas she got a tummy time llama she used it a couple of times and out of nowhere she now holds herself up with out it and has started to roll over. She uses the llama as a teddy instead now.

My little one is decent at tummy time in general. I have a few toys that light up and play music. Happened to do this in the dark with just the TV as ambient lighting. She loved the flashing lights in the dark. Very focused and was lifting higher. Thought I'd share to maybe try it in a darker room with toys that light up.

Same! I try to prop him up on his elbows a lot but he face plants lol but it isnt due to him not being able to hold head up? Cause he does that fine other times. I wondered the same thing

My baby didn’t like it that much on her activity mat so I did a lot of tummy time with her on my stomach/chest while I would lay on my back in the bed. That way it was almost like a hug when I helped her prop up and she could look up at my face (which would exercise her muscles). One day she just started propping herself up with no problem. I don’t know if that made sense at all but I hope it helped some.

I stopped doing tummy time on the ground because he just screamed the whole time. He’s 15 weeks and I have him do tummy time on my chest instead

Yup, almost fifteen weeks and still hates tummy time but loves to sit and stand with assistance

I would try rolling up a small blanket and tucking it under your little ones arms like a pool noodle in the pool. My little one seems to become less irritated with tummy time when I do it.

Until this week my son hated it. But now he can roll to his belly and seems to not mind it. Can hold himself up on his arms and now trying to get his knees under him. So I wouldn’t worry! Just keep working on it

Yes mine is 17 weeks and still not a fan. I’m not worried, when he’s held he holds his head up fine and will lay on his dad’s chest and lift his head up and look around. He just doesn’t like the position or being on the floor maybe 🤷🏼‍♀️

My 16 week old will only stand it for a few minutes and then starts crying. He’s like yours in that he can almost sit up and loves to stand.
