What will doctor do at 39 week appt?

This is the last appt I have scheduled since I’m due on Saturday. I will be 39+2 when I go in. Do they do an ultrasound or NST since I’m so close to 40 weeks? I’m opting out of checking cervix though..

Normally it’ll be like any other check up but you guys may have a conversation about induction. No NST or ultrasound needed unless there was some type of concern to do so.

At my 39 week appointment, my doctor checked me however you can decline that. I also had a membrane sweep done but I requested it. They don’t do any ultrasounds or NSTs unless something seems off.

I’ll be having a NST (but that’s because I’m older - I have one weekly). I’m also getting my first cervical check but that’s at my request to see if we can induce.

I have my 39 week appointment on Thursday and my doctor said we will be checking my cervix, doing a membrane sweep, & scheduling an induction. This is all of course only if I want this all done ! Every doctor is different good luck

I had a doctor's appt yesterday (Jan 2, my due date is today Jan 3) My doctor asked to check my cervix and then he said he'd schedule me for an induction, hopefully I won't need it he says but just to have it scheduled incase I do.
