Normal?

Had my first 8 weeks ultrasound today and got a Pap smear. Later tonight after I had sex, I had a very tiny bit of spotting on my toilet paper. And when I say a tiny bit I do mean a tiny bit.  Is that normal to kind of spot a little after an exam or Pap smear? It scared me

Paps and sex can cause some spotting since it can irritate the cervix, which becomes very sensitive especially in early pregnancy. It’s normal as long as it doesn’t become heavy.

Yes normal but you should let your OB know just in case.

I have had spotting pretty much this whole pregnancy and 2 bleeds. (My placenta is low laying) but it mostly happens when my cervix gets really irritated. It could be from the sex and pap at the same time! Just monitor it and let your ob know. If you have cramping or anything like that I would call in to be safe
