Help!!

Okay so Im 20 years old turning 21 and me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby since before my last period we have sex regular at least once a week maybe 2-3 times and he cums every single time my period starts in 5 days according to the app and I took a regular pregnancy test and it’s negative should I have taken one of the early ones I’m starting to get worried that I can’t conceive we had sex twice wile I was ovulating is there somthing I’m doing wrong?! HELP
