I’d get a divorce but can’t stand the thought of my babies 2 & 11 months having to go stay away from me

No, you're not alone. My husband is a good dad and hes a good husband I just dont find my heart in it anymore sometimes. I will always choose to stay because I made a promise to him and my kids. I won't split us all up and make 3 people miserable just to make me happy. And to be honest I dont know if that's what would make me happy. My man is honest and loyal so being with him isnt a struggle. He tells me all the time he wouldn't know what to do without us. I couldn't ever split our family up.

I thought the same things for years. It took my 4 year old at the time to tell me when need to leave daddy because he’s so mean and makes me cry. He was abusive in so many ways. I couldn’t see how unhappy my kids were when I was with their so called father. It’s been 4 years now since I kicked him out. It’s been hard at times but we all are so much happier without him even on the hardest days. Some times divorces are better in the end for the kids and yourself.

That is a wonderful reason to stay provided there is no abuse or substance abuse.  Keeping your family together for as long as you can will only benefit them as long as the home is stable and safe.  I know it’s often thought that young children want to see their parents “happy,” but children want to be happy themselves.  Your young children want their family together.  Try reading the book “The Empowered Wife.”  It’s an easy read and provides realistic advice for any situation where the partnership is safe. No participation from your husband required.

Let them see you say no I won’t be up with this. Teach them making boundaries are okay. Teach them to be strong by showing them. Teach them self love by changing what you need.
