Color of discharge, ovulation

My husband and I had an intercourse with withdrawal method today, he was able to pull out on time. We did not use BC but used condoms on and off over a year, I was pregnant but had a miscarriage. We are planning to try later this year after our trip abroad. I’m a bit nervous that I could get pregnant as the glow indicates that I’m on my first day of ovulation period but I took an ovulation test at home and it said no slurge of LH. But my discharge is thick, white, and a little sticky. My period had been irregular since my miscarriage a few months ago, I get my period every five weeks. So am I ovulating or not? Don’t want to take plan b but I don’t want to be pregnant while traveling...
