Did you or your S/O pick out your engagement ring?

I’m impatiently waiting for me and my S/O to get engaged! Wondering what the process was for you all, maybe what to (possibly) expect.

My sister knew what I wanted, I showed her  pics. I didn’t know when he was looking for a ring and going to propose. They designed it together. It’s beautiful and I love it. They didn’t know eachother that well so it also meant a lot they bonded over picking it. 
My sister planned my 30th birthday as a weekend getaway at a ski resort with our friends. Me and my now husband went up a day early, and he proposed to me 1v1 and everyone was waiting for us to get to the rental condo after. My parents came up too. It was perfect. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

I described what features I liked. (Rose gold and solitaire) He got it custom made and I loved it right away 🥰

Me and my SO will be together 5 years this year and I got a ring last year for Christmas with no real significance to it and he let me pick a new one out for Christmas this year and I picked out a wedding set bc it was just so pretty and then we talked about how he can only wear the rubber type wedding bands at his work due to safety precautions and what not but we have talked about rings and such before and nothing happens it doesn’t go past a talk buttttt I have a feeling why we probably won’t due to me making some mistakes in our relationship kinda hindering the whole possibly getting married step it sucks but I did it to myself as long as me and him can stay together for our son and potential second baby I’ll just deal for now 😣

I told him that i wanted something small and somewhat unique. I follow an instagram jewellery page and he picked one from there that he loved without me knowing.

Well, we went looking together but I got to pick. He was just there to know which one I like (not long now🤞🏻we’re already engaged but just getting the ring soon)

Me and my boyfriend will just be in the mall and he’ll drag me to the four different jewelry stores. I tell the person what I like and I’ll try it on. It happens every time we’re at the mall which is a lot lol. It makes me excited but then like forever passes. I’m currently waiting as well lol
