When do they start checking dilation ?

I keep reading posts about getting checked at 30 weeks and up..

They checked me starting 36 weeks.

I think my doc started at 36 weeks. He offered membrane sweeps at 37 weeks.

They haven’t offered yet. I had the strep group b test at 36 weeks and an ultrasound at 37 weeks. Having another ultrasound Monday

I had my first check for dilation at 34 weeks, and that's when they also did the strep b test! Now they check every other week for dilation

My doc checks at 36 weeks when she does the group b test. After that she leaves it up to the patient and if they’re having pain or not

From what I understand the cervical checks cant actually predict when you’re going to go into labor, its just something that has become standard practice for some reason- so you can say no thank you if you would rather avoid them 👍

With my first i started getting checked at 35 weeks. My second it was 34 because i had preterm labor
