My dog Zoë is my service animal and she has been with me for almost two years now. I got her as a pup and she has been my everything from day one. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant and I have noticed many changes with her as my pregnancy progresses. The main thing is that she refuses to fall asleep unless her head is directly on my belly. Second thing is that every time the baby kicks and she’s laying on me she seems to feel the need to whine and nudge my belly. Sometimes I swear they are communicating with one another. When my baby starts moving in the middle of the night Zoë seems to feel the need to lay on me and baby stops moving almost instantaneously. When we ask my dog “Where is the baby Zoë?” She literally runs over to me and with her nose touches my belly (seems way strange.) I just wonder if my unborn child could have a connection to my golden retriever while in the womb? I have googled this and simple can’t find an answer! What do you guys think? Any similar stories?
