Possible teething?

Kayla

My almost 3 month old has been drooling a lot lately and has been really fussy. She's normally a happy baby who only cries when hungry or needs a diaper change other then that she's good. The last 2 weeks though she's been super fussy, not sleeping much and when she does she wakes up a couple minutes later fussy. Plus she doesn't normally need her pacifier to go to sleep or stay asleep and now she does and she sucks on it really hard. I'm a first time mom and not 100% what to look for.

The drooling is normal at that age. So not necessarily teeth. Lots of developmental changes between 3 and 4 months that would explain the fussiness.

Sounds like it. My son got his first 2 teeth at 4months old! He's nearly 15 months now and has 11 with another top molar on it's way

Only thing that helped my son was anbesol he didn't like his teething toys etc. Try wetting a clean cloth with cold water to put on her gum or her dummy in the freezer for 5mins

Teeth might start to push but they often break through around 6 months of age. Our daughters has showed signs of teeth since 3 months but got her first teeth between 6-7 months. In some periods it seemed worse than others. In general so much happens with their body and mind within the first few years that it can be hard to know exactly what's up.Try and give a cold pacifier or something cold to chew on and see if that helps.
