Can this happen??!

Question

I got a faint positive test 9 DPO then 2 negative tests 12 DPO.  At the doctor Monday my urine was negative and my bloodwork showed 5.6 hcg level, below 5 is negative.  She said most likely chemical.  My period was supposed to start Tuesday but I just had some light pink spotting then nothing since then.  I’ve been super nauseous, stomach pains, still no bleeding and my period was 5 days late so I took a test and it’s damnnnn positive?!?!  I’m confused, I’m in shock, I’m overwhelmed, I don’t even know 😨.  I went through all the emotions of thinking I lost it as a chemical and then this happens.  Did I never have a chemical??  Did i just go in too early or ovulate late?  Like I’m so confused, that early faint positive is throwing me off.  I want to be excited but I’m also nervous agggghhh 🤯

Possibly the early positive was actually an indent or evap? You’re definitely pregnant now I’d go back to check hcg level

Possibly late ovulation. 
I’d go back and have bloods done again

I’d make another appointment with my chemical all my tests were really light and I had lots of spotting then finally heavy bleeding. After a few days my tests went negative

I think maybe you just went to the doctor too early. Definitely doesn't seem like a chemical to me! Head back to the doctors and wave your test around. Good luck!

I had a chemical in September, I was similar getting positives (even on digital) and negatives, I had a really heavy bleed with clots so that confirmed for me i wasn’t still pregnant. 
I was told not to test again for another 2weeks as may read positive, I tested after about 10 days and it was negative. So that solid positive looks like good news! X
