Should I be feeling contractions now? 38+4 FTM

Question

As of last Monday I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced and baby was head down and low. I’m due Jan 14th but my last scan showed maybe closer to the 8th. I haven’t had a single contraction and it’s making me worried about whether or not I’ll go into labor naturally. I’ve been walking, bouncing on a ball, and having sex but still I only feel a few Braxton-Hicks now and then. Anyone have this happen?

Every baby is different! I didn’t feel anything with my first. This one I’ve been having them forever

I had no contractions or any other signs of labor with my first. I was checked at 36+5, and was 0 anything. My water broke two days later 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn't have any contractions at all with my first until I was in active labour no Braxton Hicks or anything, she came at 38 weeks 3days. This one I've had Braxton Hicks since 20 weeks they're all different x

I didn’t have my first baby until 41+5 and my second baby too. It can feel like an eternity waiting, but unfortunately they just come when they come.
