Hey y’all I just got a one year old Russian tortoise on Sunday. He hadn’t been eating all week until after I built his permanent enclosure (huge tortoise table). I bought some wheat grass plants from the pet store, some pansies, and bought some alfalfa hay that I spread on top of the mulch in his enclosure. I’ve been trying to feed him some of the food I was given by the person who gave him to me but he’s more interested in the pansies. He did eat a bit of alfalfa hay too but he’ll only eat the stuff that’s spread on top of the mulch (I also put some hay in with his food). Anyone else have this problem too? And how can I make sure that he’s eating other things and not just getting stuck on the flowers?
