My 6 week old has temp of 102.5

And the nurse hotline at my local hospital doesn’t think we should take him in. He has RSV & is currently on day 5. He hasn’t had any difficulty breathing. He’s eating well, and is just slightly congested. So what can I do to give him extra comfort? I talked to one nurse and she said keep him bundled up and warm, but another nurse told me to undress him and let him cool off... besides that is there anything else I can possibly do? It’s breakin my heart. 😩
