Birthing Center or Hospital?

Do you ladies prefer hospital or a birthing center? Curious as to what y’all all prefer I know it’s so nerve racking when having fertility issues.

I went hospital my first time and I’m going birthing center with my next birth. With my hospital I was promised to be able to move freely, labor (not deliver) in a tub, use a yoga ball and peanut ball, have music, wear what I found comfortable, have my husband assist during contractions, no mention of pain meds or an epidural, and give birth in a position not on my back; my actual experience was I had to fight to be able to be out of bed for 10-15 minutes every hour, I was only allowed to be in the for 5 minutes before being hounded to get out, they wouldn’t allow my husband to bring my yoga ball or peanut ball in, no music allowed, I was forced into a hospital gown, the nurse would take over “helping” with contractions when I didn’t want, the epidural was mentioned every time someone walked in the room, and I was forced on my back to push.

I'm trying to just get pregnant first....but theres a hospital near me that has a birthing center. So if an emergency happens, you can quickly be transferred.
I'd really love to have a home birth, but my husband wont go for that. He was born with cardiomyopathy and would have died if he wasnt born in a hospital.

Birth center a million times over! So much better care there.
