What is the best age to become a parent?

I'm curious; Some of you who are young parents, do you wish you waited? Some of you who are older, do you think you'd have more energy if you got any earlier start?

When your emotionally, mentally, & financially stable. Ideally completed some short term goals that you may not do as easily with children.

I’m happy we didn’t wait. I love being a young mom. I catch absurd amounts of shit, and god forbid i ever need anything because here comes the shitstorm. Whether you’re 18 or 35, if you’re a first time mom, youre not any more experienced just because you’re older. You just aren’t. Ive come to hate older moms just because they’re dicks to younger moms. There is a difference between offering help and just being a prick because you can play the older card. All in all I’m happy I had kids young but I’m gonna cap it at 30. My husband and I agreed that if we don’t have any more kids by 30 I’m going to get my tubes tied. I like the energy, my body was able to bounce back amazingly well, among other things. I personally like it a lot. That being said, not a lot of people were in my situation at the time I had my first.

Had a child at 20 and 28 and it was 1000× easier at 28. We were just a lot more financially stable. But some are really stable at a younger age so it will vary greatly from situation to situation

I personally chose to have my 20’s be all about me. Partying, living it up, traveling, splurging, shopping, etc. i met my husband at age 28, married age 31, started making babies. I don’t regret it because for the rest of my life, it will be all about my kids ❤️ I’m glad i took my 20s for me.

We had our first when we were 24, and I'm now pregnant with our second and last at 26.  We own our own home right across from a park and 2 min walk to a great school. We both have good jobs, savings, and are just about to remodel the kitchen and do up the nursery in time for Thing 2. We already got our travelling in early, and are happy to do things in this order so we can have longer with our kids when they're grown. We will be 44 by the time both kids would be 18, and can travel and relax more then. In a way our son caused us to be more productive, and being responsible for a life meant we couldn't justify taking that lazy day off work or order that unhealthy takeaway as often. I think the hardest part is that of our friends only a couple have kids, though quite a few are starting to try. Each family is different, and do things at different times. What is too soon or too late for one couple is just right for another. As long as you're financially and emotionally stable enough, then no age is too old or too young!💛

I had my first baby at 30 years old and personally, just only for me, I’m glad I waited long to have a baby with a right man and that I’m much more stable in the emotion/mental/financial aspects. So, for the others, I don’t think there is such a thing as a right age (I’m speaking of adults,  not teens) to have a baby but what matters the most is when you are absolutely ready to have a baby, then that’s a perfect timing for you to try.

I don’t regret having my kids young even though financially it was difficult. 
I am trying to conceive my last child (4th) and I’ll be 28 this year. I’m excited for our last but also ready to be done baby making. 9-10 year span and I’m done ✅
