My mom is not letting me have my moment. My baby is only 3days out the hospital. The day we got home from the hospital I said out loud I need to check the baby’s diaper. Right away she took the baby’s diaper off without even getting the things ready. The baby was so cold and kicking. She got poop all over her feet, clothes, my bed. Today She asked me to breast pump my milk so she can feed the baby. She’s constantly making me feel like I don’t know what I’m doing, which I don’t but I would like to learn on my own. I took a few classes at the hospital while pregnant because I wanted to “prepare” myself a little but apparently the hospital doesn’t know what they’re talking about. She even made me feel guilty about taking my pain meds because I was breastfeeding. So I haven’t taken them in two days. Today I just broke down. She made a big deal about me asking her if she washed her hands. She’s a heavy smoker so I get scared when my mom wants to hold her. Ahhh I feel a little better now.
