HOW DO YOU LADIES DO IT?!

So, my daughter has been able to roll over for awhile, but here lately she's been rolling a lot more. Well, tonight she has realized that she can do it in her crib. Before this when I would lay her down, she would simply go to sleep on her back and not scare the crap out of mommy. We are now scaring the crap out of mommy. Her face is full force into the mattress. I tried to turn her head, she moved it right back. 🤦‍♀️ Stressing me out!!

She'll be just fine! She has great control of her neck/head and can turn it if she needs to. Even if it looks like she can't breathe, she can.

My LO does this, it’s literally the only way she sleeps! Lol but im use to it now

Just another comment letting you know my babe does it too! Has for a while now and hes all good. He will move his head back and forth when he needs to. Were use to it now too

My daughter started doing that at like 4 months. Honestly eventually you’ll just get used to it, she will be totally fine.

She is totally fine. I was so scared of this when my girl started sleeping on her belly but it looks scarier than it actually is. She will move her head if she needs to. My daughter does it all the time I used to lay in bed watching the monitor now im like bye girl I'm going to bed haha it takes some getting used to lol

She is old enough to chose her own sleep position, odd as that might sound. Laying new borns on their backs to sleep is really about trying to prevent babies that have undetected conditions from dying. Even the majority of new borns would be fine on their stomach, it’s just about trying to avoid any possible risk to the odd baby out. As all babies age their neck mussels catch up so that they have the ability to move their own head if truly suffocating.
