Rolling onto stomach
I just wanted to get some opinions on this and see what everyone else has done/is doing.
Our little guy has rolled over to his stomach for the first time last night while we were watching him cry on the monitor waiting to enter his room after 5 minutes. (We are practicing the Taking Cara Babies steps right now) He did it last night and then again tonight in the same situation, we were watching him on the monitor and caught him both times. Tonight he woke up after being asleep for only an hr and ended up on his stomach. So we decided to unswaddle his arms..once we did he fussed and cried on and off for 45 minutes as he chewed on his hands keeping himself up the whole time. He’s not at the point where he can put himself to sleep just yet and I know he was overtired when we put him to sleep as we were out and about and he wouldn’t nap. I finally just went and swaddled him back up and got him to sleep so he wouldn’t keep himself up all night crying and chewing on his hands. I’ve got my eyes peeled on the monitor to make sure he doesn’t roll again, but I’m at a loss on what to do because it seems his arms unswaddled is going to keep him up all night crying, but I don’t want to keep them down cause he’s rolling.
