My 7 week old bundle of joy has RSV. I called 911 from home Friday afternoon due to a coughing fit that wasn't stopping, it was terrifying. We went to the ER and were admitted because of her low O2 levels. We've now been here 36 hours. She is seeming much better but we have to wait until around noon to see what the doctor says. They have turned down her O2 by half since being admitted, but yesterday the doctor said her lungs sound pretty clogged. She has been happy and eating SO well since we've been here. I think she would have slept through the night last night if the nurse didn't keeping coming and waking her up to suction her and tell me to feed (which I understand, but come on...) Praying the doctor thinks she is ready to go home today!
