So I’ve just been discharged from hospital after 24 hours of observation for severe pain on my right side. Had a scan and found out that I have an ovarian cyst but doctors say it’s too small to be concerning so they will not treat it. It hurts so bad that I required very strong medication to control the pain in hospital but now I’ve been sent home they expect me to be able to control the pain with over the counter pain relief. It’s still really painful and I’m having to miss days of work as I don’t want to move. What am I meant to do?
