Ladies with endometriosis: How did you find out you had it? Did you have to ask your doctor to test? I’ve read so many different things online.

I 100% do not want to claim something that I may not have but I’m just trying to find out what could be wrong with me. My periods are excruciating- I spent all morning with hot flashes, throwing up- the whole 9 yards. I’ve missed work due to some of my periods. I read online that “clues of endometriosis could be detected with vaginal ultrasound but my doc said everything looked fine.

Just wondering if this is something I should bring up to her ?
