So last night, I had a conversation with a lady at a retail store. (I go there often, so we always talk about our personal life) she said that the guy she’s with now, she knew he’d be her husband the moment she laid eyes on him. I think that’s sweet, but just wanted to see how other people felt about it.

I met my husband at 14 in high school. The second I saw him I had this “holy shit. That’s the guy I’m going to marry. He’s going to be the father of my babies.” Definitely one of those weird time stood still and it freaked me out. I didn’t know if it was gonna be one of those things where we would go to the same high school but not connect until we were in our 20’s or if we would be with other people until our 30’s and then meet again. Did I love him at first sight? No. But I knew he would be a major part of my life. 
Turns out he felt the same thing and we’ve been together since the day we met 12 years ago. We got married 2 years ago and our first baby is due at the end of March.

After the first date I knew that my husband was the guy I was going to marry. It was weird because I had never experienced that before. I was told later on into our relationship that he went home that night and called his mom and told her that he met the woman he was going to marry. It wasn't at first sight but we both new. We've been together 4 years, married 2 and expecting our 2nd child in February.

The first time I met my husband,  i just knew he was the one. He's told me it felt the same for him. With my other relationships ive felt lust or infatuation at first sight. Thought they were cute or cool or whatever and it turned into love over time. With my husband tho it was like a puzzle piece snapped into place and I was like holy fuck, he's the one.
