I’m married to an Army Veteran. His whole family is military; parents are retired Navy & both of his baby brothers are currently in the Air Force. I honestly didn’t know the first thing about things in the military like air crafts, weapons, etc. We have military in my family, but back from like WWII...

So when we started dating I tried learning the “culture” (for lack of a better word) so I could actually understand wtf him & his family was talking about lol. It’s not just a helicopter, it’s a Black Hawk or an Apache. That’s not just a gun, it’s an M14 or AK47, stuff like that really.

We’ve been together for 3 years & married for 1 year now.

This morning we were watching Olympus Has Fallen. I had never seen it before. They were trying to intercept a plane in a restricted area. I said “that looks like a C-130.”

My husband perked right up & goes, “Yeah! It is! Good job, babe!”

Y’all. I felt SOOO proud of myself. 😂😂😂
