Weird Home Depot question

I have only bought wood from home depot once, so I don't know how this works. I know they have little stations where you can cut the wood down to size, or maybe you can get an employee to do it? But how much can you cut there?

So I'm looking at a 4"x4"x8' piece of wood. I need to have it cut down to 4" pieces, so I would end up with 24 square blocks. I don't have a saw and I live in an apartment, so I don't even have somewhere where I could cut it if I bought a saw.

Could I get that much cutting done at home depot?
