Yes both my children have one and it’s part of our regular sleep routine! It helps drown out other noises that may interrupt them and creates a calming sleep environment.

We've been doing it since very early on as well and between that and his sleepsack, my little guy knows it's Sleepytime with it. It's so nice for him since our windows aren't very noise cancelling and he finds it calming. As others have said, we use an old phone with a free white noise app and just leave it plugged in. Can't beat free ha!I actually was just wondering when people stopped using white noise actually.

YES! I can’t believe we ever lived without one! It’s drowns out all the extra noise and is a great sleep indicator. When my LO hears it, she knows it’s time for sleep!

We got the Rohm one on Amazon and it’s great. Loud, stays on all nights, and is portable.

We don’t have a machine but just get the amazon alexa to play running water sound (the speaker is under her crib). I’ve heard it helps them stitch sleep cycles together

We use my old iPhone with an app called sleepytot it works great I just leave the phone plugged in and on a shelf in his room and play the waterfall noise because it seemed to be the most calming for our boy and we play it all night. We have used it since he was a couple weeks old and he knows it's sleep time as soon as he hears it and works really well!

My son hates the white noise sound it doesn’t calm him down and he doesn’t sleep while the noise is playing.

We use one too. My 2 year old knows the exact volume she prefers to have it on! It does help drown out other noise and indicates that it is time to sleep. I suggest getting a small-sized one (bc we travel with it) and also be sure it plugs in bc only battery operated would be a pain imo.

I have one for my kids’ room and one for me. I used to use fans but in our new house I couldn’t find a set-up that didn’t have air blowing on me in the winter so I switched to the machines. I’ve always needed white noise to sleep and since my babies stayed with me for a few months I keep using it when they move into their own room.
