Almost anything now a days. A lot of people don’t believe in sitting and talking. A divorce is so Normal now and it’s everyone’s threat, and first option.

I think it’s because a lot of people are selfish. It’s hard to be selfless in a relationship in a world where everyone says you need to make yourself happy.

Lack of communication and settling/rushing into marriage before really knowing the person. Many people I know who are divorced will tell you the never should of married the person in the first place

Marriage can be hard for many reasons:
Disagreements about anything (in laws, sex, money, children, church, how to spend time, friends, parenting styles, how you treat each other, etc)
The biggest struggles my husband and I had our first year of marriage were mainly because he thought his parents were saints who did no wrong, whatever they said was absolute truth, and their way was the only way to do things. They also felt we had some sort of obligation to go see them basically every day. His mom called him multiple times a day and continued to call if he didn’t answer. 
We also had lots of arguments about his lack of help around the house. He would make huge messes every day and just leave them. I am a fairly tidy person, so it drove me insane. It still does, but he has gotten better about it.

Finances and kids are the two main reasons for divorce today. There is also infidelity. My parents have been married for 35 years and personally I don’t believe in divorce and it is not an option. That is something that’s to be discussed before I ever end up getting married.

And I think there has to be a serious serious commitment to stay together no matter what
Even if it means you two end up with a relationship that looks nothing like the average marriage or the marriage you started off with...

We get too focused on the kingdom of self ...... I want , I think, My way, My feelings, My desire, My wants and we forget to focus on putting the other person first or working on US.
 We as humans are self centered. In a marriage we need to be a team and leave the I at the altar. 
 Not saying we can't have our own hobbys or interests or spend time by ourselves that is needed to have a healthy relationship but when they are engaged in to the point of major exclusion of the relationship they become a problem.
