Bottle help!
My baby has been super gassy since we started introducing a bottle. We only give her one to two bottles a day to help her figure out bottle feeding for when I go back to work, but I can notice a huge difference after she takes a bottle in the evenings. I've tried several different brands and some are better than others, but I just really feel terrible that she's getting so gassy after her bottle.
We've tried Tommee Tippee, MAM, Latch, Dr. Brown's, EvenFlo, Avent, and Medela. She hates EvenFlo and Latch and won't latch on either. MAM she takes great and doesn't make her as gassy but there's nipple confusion there and she's so much harder to breastfeed when we use that bottle. Avent was great except the flow was too fast. Dr. Brown's was good, it's just hard to get all the pieces clean, and Tommee Tippee was okay, but she still got quite a bit of air. Medela was terrible and she takes in so much air and collapses the nipple with it. At this point I will probably continue with Dr. Brown for this week to see how she does longer term, but I wanted to see what kind of bottle you suggest for EBF babies. Is there another brand that I could try to help her with her gassiness? She gets so miserable sometimes and all that can get it worked out is gas drops and lots of tummy time.
Please no diet suggestions for me. I have cut out caffiene, chocolate, dairy, and eggs and none of that works. There is nothing that I am eating that consistently makes her more or less gassy. The only thing that makes her more or less gassy is if she takes a bottle or not.
