Do men want virgins?

Okay ladies. I am struggling hard. I am 26 and still a virgin... however there’s this guy I’m in love with & we want it bad. I know sex before marriage isn’t right but I’m lonely because I live alone and just want to love and be loved. Please don’t judge. My question is, do men really care if a woman is a virgin or not? Because frankly it just shows a lack of experience and knowledge and a host of insecurity.

I had sex with a lot of people before I got married and before I became a Christian and I regret it so much. I wish my husband had been my first. My husband wishes that I had been his first. It’s a gift you get to give to him and him to you. I agree 100% with the other poster that it is also sinning against God. If your bf is someone you’re considering marrying then he should care about your purity and his as well. If he doesn’t then he’s not being the spiritual leader that you need for marriage.
Also, if you’re feeling lonely and alone, sex will not fill that void. Neither will a relationship. Only Jesus can! So call out to Him, share your struggles with Him, and lean on Him. He loves you and cares about you. He knows what you’re going through. And I promise that waiting is 100% worth it! I wish I had.

I would reword your question to “Does God want virgins”. I know it’s easier said then done, but What God wants for you should be more important than what a man wants for your or from you. 
I watched a video last week from Jackie Hill Perry where she said that you should want a man who loves God more than he loves you. It’s very powerful! Wish I would have heard this when I was younger before dating

Depends on the man, but I wouldn't depend on a man's preference to determine whether or not to have sex. The sin is against God more than against others. I'd fear Him over fearing people. Also, if you're both struggling, go get married. My husband and I were both virgins when we got married and it was one of the best decisions we've made in our lives. No judgements, no comparison. I've never watched porn either (it was never a struggle for me or a desire), so I literally had nothing to compare sex to. But we've been married 3 years now and our sex life is great, especially since it's just us 2 and no one in our past.

I did not wait nor was my husband my first, he was my third. As I became a Christian after a year or two into our marriage, it does sadden me that we could not be each-others first. Yes you may be inexperienced but its the journey and learning together that makes it special. To know that your husband is the only one that you have been intimate with and him to you is so meaningful. I wish I could have had that.

Depends on the man. I was a virgin till I got married at the age of 35 (talk about waiting)!! My husband was not a virgin and, tbh, he was worried that I was. However, he loved me, so (he told me this later) he had a little talk with himself that if he wanted me he was going to have to wait, and he did. Now (seven years later) he tells me how happy he is that I waited for him and expresses regret that he didn't wait for me. 
I waited for two reasons: trusting that God knows what's best for me and wanting to protect my own heart. I just couldn't bear the idea of a man having me in such an intimate way and then dumping me or ghosting me. 
I had a dude announce his relationship on FB to another girl a month he and I went on a date where he put his arms around me. I was like, "What..?" But imagine how'd I feel if we had had sex. 
And yes, I did date some dudes who couldn't hang and we'd fizzle out, but it didn't bum me out. I figured their feelings for me weren't strong enough, so why would I want to give myself away to that? 
Anyway, I hope this encourages you. I know when women are approaching 30 it's like, "Omigosh, I'm almost 30 and I haven't done this, that, and the other yet." You have time. I felt really worried at your age because I hadn't even had my first kiss yet (not for religious reasons; I just didn't feel strongly enough about the dudes I dated).
The next time you're tempted just ask yourself, "If I have sex with him and we end up breaking up how am I going to feel?" Probably worse than if you break up without giving yourself.

If you're feeling lonely then you aren't spending enough time with God. Especially if your first thought is to rebel and sin against God. If you want to get pass loneliness then start a prayer meeting or bible study with some women in Christ. Or who want to know Christ. But to let lust drive you into sin is not wise. Not to mention if the man is of God he will wait and have you wait until marriage. No true man of God is going to lead you into damnation.

Both my husband and I didn’t wait but we both agree we regret not waiting for each other. Some men do want virgins and some don’t care. Having sex because you’re lonely and want to be loved is not the right reason because sex definitely won’t give that to you.

If he is a Christian man he will respect that you’re a virgin and respect that you should both wait until marriage. By no means am I saying it’s easy to wait, but be praying about it and let God lead you.

It's not just about men and God but also your future marriage. Sex before marriage (even with your future husband) takes a little piece from your marriage every time that you can never get back, and if you do it will never be the same. Don't rob your future self. That goes for both genders, not just women.
