Does the 2nd child learn faster?

Is it true that the second child learns faster than the first, because they have their older sibling to learn from? My kids will be about 20 months apart when this baby is born. I'm nervous because my oldest is at such an amazing age right now, and starting over is terrifying.

My first was advanced for lots and lots, speech, counting, alphabet (saying but more importantly knowing the letters and what noises they make), colours, shapes etc. She had it all down by 18m. My second isn’t interested in talking but he’s scaling walls, trying to use the swing, climbing ladders, running, started walking at 10m. Which my 3.5 is now mastering (she started walking at 12m and was done, had no interest in the rest)  and had no interest in at his age (16m)

My nephew is 9 and my niece is 4 and this couldnt be further from the truth for them. 
My nephew knew his ABC's at 2 and could write them and was reading by 3 and knew all his shapes (including freaking trapezoid) and colors by 4.
My niece is 4.5 and can't count to 10 and doesnt know ABC's or shapes. 
My nephew has tried to sit and teach her (because their mom doesnt help them fo anything) and she shows no interest. 
I think what helped was youtube wasnt filled with the stupid crap it is now when my nephew watched it when he was smaller. All that was on there when he was a toddler was educational stuff. And all my niece watches is "Chad and V" "Game Master pz9" crap.

I would say yes, my boys are 18 months apart and my two year old definitely starting talking a lot sooner than my first they both walked about the same time but yeah he is definitely more advanced then my first was and that’s because he has a little person to learn from and he literally copies him on EVERYTHING!💜

But im not 100% sure if it is tbh. I was walking by 7 months and saying sentences by 1. My sister didnt walk until 1.5 and wasnt speaking in sentences until 3.5.

If this is true I cannot have another chikd lmao. My daughter is WAY too smart for her age and i font think i could have a child younger (less impulse) with more knowledge.

Probably depends on the kids. So far my second is equal to or a little slower than my first. He’s not behind or anything, he’s just doing his own thing at his own speed. My baby sisters were born when I was a teen and the second did most things later than the first did.

My second born and following children were the opposite. 
Because my eldest used to “mother” my second born, my second born became a lazy little madam! She knew If I wouldn’t do it her sister would because she was a doting sister 😂. 
She still wasn’t behind on development mind u, but wasn’t as fast as my first.
My son (my third) has 2 big sisters pampering to him so he took a bit longer n then my current youngest who’s 2 and a half is a lazy little madam!
Physically she’s fine verbally she’s fine but I will tell her to tidy up her toys... she will say “no mommy”. 
Instead of her siblings persisting with me... my 12 year old says “it’s ok elle I’ll do it!” 🙄🙈 xx

I feel like the basics took longer because my kids are opposite but she learned a lot from her big brother but they are 3 1/2 years apart.
