Removing engagement/wedding rings?

Question

Are you all planning to stop wearing your wedding/engagement rings as you get closer to your due date? I’m 34 weeks 4 days and noticed that my ring finger is starting to swell a bit around my knuckles. My rings still fit fine where they sit on my finger but I can barely get my wedding band over my knuckle so I’m wondering if I should just stop wearing them to avoid an issue down the road. 
What are you all doing? 
Getting so close - can’t wait for the big day to finally be here!

I never had this issue with my first but this go around there are some days I can’t get my rings on at all. I don’t really notice any swelling in my hands but it’s obviously happening if my rings don’t fit. Since it comes & goes, i leave them off when they don’t fit & wear them when they do 🤷🏽‍♀️ I take them off to put lotion on a couple times a day.

I work from home so I don’t wear mine unless I leave the house to go out and mine fit like usual still. I’m 33 weeks. I’m going to see how I am over the next few weeks but will probably just wear my silicone band from Qalo the last month - highly recommend their bands!

I'm gonna wait & see. I did with my last pregnancy because it started getting hard to take them off & I got scared! I wore them on a necklace for the last couple weeks. My friend wasn't paying attention & by the time she noticed, hers were almost impossible to get off & started restricting circulation, so I think better safe than sorry.

If they’re getting hard to take off then I would take them off until after birth. No point in risking them having to be cut off if something happens. I took mine off during my first pregnancy at 12 weeks bc of swelling. I wore a rubber ring instead. At this point 34 weeks isn’t that far away from delivery so if I need to take them off I will and wil just go without until after delivery.

I had to take all my jewelry off (watch, rings, even my charm bracelet that i had been wearing every single day since i was 7 years old) id rather have them safe in a drawer than risk them needing to be cut off at the hospital in case they’re blocking my blood circulation.

I am pregnant with number 7 and have never had to take mine off until this pregnancy sooooooooo sad! I have another ring that I usually wear on my middle finger on right hand soi I moved it to the ring finger because I feel naked without it but I almost had to cut off my wedding band and it scared me so ive left it off. I normally keep them on even during delivery

I’m 34 weeks and I have been wearing a silicone ring for the last few weeks. My hands have been swelling up way too much to be wearing my nice ring! I could tell it was going to get stuck if I continued to wear it

Mine still fit, and I still wear them- but I won’t wear any jewelry to the hospital for delivery.

I had the same issue with my knuckles and took them off around 34 weeks as well. Just didn’t want to get stuck, and neither my husband nor I mind not wearing anything for a few weeks

I took mine off, doesn’t bother me to go without them. I’ve been with my husband for 13 years though so there’s not a soul who doesn’t know we’re married.
