When’s the right time to have baby #2? Or when did you have baby #2?

I really don’t want my kids to be far apart but at the same time I don’t know if I want a toddler and a newborn😂

We wanted our kids close so we didnt prevent or try. We just let nature take its course. Now I have Irish twins that are 12 1/2 months apart and I absolutely love it!!

Personally, I highly recommend waiting until your first is potty trained. I used to work at a daycare, & 9 times out of 10, when mom had baby #2, the first born regressed with their potty training and/or took at least another year to transition out of diapers.
Of course, all kids are different, so I’m not saying that’s the case for everyone!
In a perfect world, I’d have all my kids about 3 years apart. My 3 year old is so independent, still takes a long nap in the afternoon, & has been potty trained for over a year, which has made this pregnancy a breeze!

My two are 21 months apart. So a little less than two years. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong gap but I like the close age gap.
